This bilingual book deals with the audiovisual literary inspired by the William Wordsworth poem and that was made with a montage on the homonymous music of Gerald Finzi, and in turn completed with a symphonic poem by Charles H. Parry, bringing together these in the same work. famous works. Starring children and adolescents, it closes the first period of the author’s achievements (1976-1979).

This audiovisual consisting of the language of still images (photographs) with sound was made in 1977 and is therefore supported solely by music, as is characteristic of this first cycle, lyrically evoking the intentional pantheistic and neoplatonic vision of the Universe of poetry. by Wordsworth. The plasticity of the image was inspired by classical pictorial and sculptural motifs, and the photography was taken using as a background the remains of the old walls of the old Avellaneda Cathedral, province of Buenos Aires, indications of what was a classical-style architecture that was deployed in columns, arcades, pediments and capitals that no longer exist today and that were thus documented before their definitive removal.

The theme of immortality that subsists thematically in the poem is deeply related to the immortality of the soul, which Wordsworth closely linked to the state that persists exclusively during childhood. Hence the choice made by the author to use children as protagonists.

The literary work includes a profuse iconographic selection with numerous audiovisual photographs, and chapters referring to musical and literary inspiration, about the montage, the production history and protagonists, and the points of connection with the Audiovisual Theory of the author.
