This is the third book by the same author and it is about music. It was written after The Crisis and Dehumanization of Art in the 20th Century. Its manifestation in music, and Music in the crisis and dehumanization of contemporary art.

In this work, it has been given priority to a new aspect focused on “how music contribute to release a transformative potential in hearer, turning him or her into an active, participant and emancipated individual”.

This text is connected with other books, and mainly with The Levels of Aesthetic Experience, which it is focused on the development of three main capacities through music.”Just as music is capable of developing attitudes that emancipate the spirit and engender the creative act, it can also transform person into a merely passive and manageable being, a person that deserved a distinctive treatment.”

Exploring the experiences of musical hearing as an inspiration source for audiovisual creation, this work, with a didactic criterion, is closely related to art, psychology and education.
